OpenAI's ChatGPT plugins or API might allow integration with audio transcription tools, but standalone ChatGPT chat interface does not have audio transcription capability.
You can use third-party apps that integrate ChatGPT with transcription services. But ChatGPT itself can't listen to or process audio natively.
I've used Whisper to transcribe interviews and then fed the transcripts into ChatGPT for summarization. Works really well!
