I've used OpenClaw in a small team project last year. It's quite user-friendly and supports rapid prototyping well. The community is growing, which helps when you run into issues.
Claude Code has a slightly steeper learning curve, but it offers powerful modularity. For fast prototyping, it might slow you down initially, but pays off in the long run if your prototypes evolve into more complex projects.
Performance-wise, both are comparable for small-scale prototyping. The choice depends mostly on your team's familiarity and project needs.
Claude Code's documentation is a bit sparse compared to OpenClaw. For small teams without dedicated devops, this might be a factor.
In terms of integration, OpenClaw works great with most CI/CD pipelines, which made our deployment and testing much smoother.
