If you have access to GPT-4 with vision capabilities, you might be able to upload images or PDFs and get text extraction done. But the base ChatGPT interface doesn't support direct OCR on PDFs.
ChatGPT by itself can't perform OCR directly on PDFs since it mainly processes text input. However, you could upload the PDF or images through plugins or external tools that do OCR, then feed the extracted text to ChatGPT for further analysis.
