I've tried using ChatGPT to explain accounting standards and it was great for learning and clarifying concepts.
Be cautious using ChatGPT for accounting. It doesn’t have access to real-time data or specific accounting software, so it might make errors if you rely solely on it.
As an accountant, I think ChatGPT can assist with explanations of accounting principles and help draft reports, but it can't replace professional judgment or handle sensitive financial data securely.
I used ChatGPT to help generate financial summaries and it was pretty good for getting basic reports done quickly. However, I wouldn't rely on it for detailed accounting entries or audits.
