Sometimes I get super long replies I don’t want. Been telling ChatGPT to keep it under 200 words and that helps a bit.
I like prompting it to roleplay a specific character or persona, that way the responses feel more lively and tailored.
Been checking out some resources for prompt ideas. You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools and inspiration!
Incorporating examples of what I want in the prompt itself helps a lot. Like giving a sample answer style or format.
Anyone use negative prompts? Like telling it what NOT to say or avoid? It kinda works but tricky to get right.
I always tell it to ask clarifying questions if it’s unsure, that way the answers improve after a bit of back and forth.
I've found breaking down the prompt into smaller parts helps a ton. Like, asking the AI to first outline, then expand each section separately.
Sometimes I struggle to get the AI to stay on topic for long responses. Anyone got tricks to keep it focused?
Anyone else here using specific keywords to control tone and style? I've been trying stuff like 'explain like I'm five' or 'write formally' and it works surprisingly well.
