Hey everyone, I’ve been hunting for some decent software that can help break down profit margins specifically for marketing agencies. There’s tons out there, but not all fit our kinda work. Anyone got some solid recommendations or personal favs? Would love to hear what’s actually helpful in real-world use!

I think the biggest challenge is getting accurate cost data from multiple campaigns and channels, so even the best tools need clean data input to work right.
Anyone using AI-powered financial software for agencies here? Wondering if that helps automate margin analysis better.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that help with stuff like this. Found some pretty cool AI-driven analytics platforms there.
Make sure whatever tool you use can handle your agency's specific billing models, like retainer vs project-based, since that affects margins a lot.
Anyone tried using Google Data Studio or Looker to create custom dashboards for margins? It’s a bit DIY but super flexible if you can put the data together.
Been using Excel with some VBA macros I found online. Not fancy but gets the job done for calculating marketing margins based on input data.
I’ve tried a couple of tools before, but honestly, QuickBooks has been pretty solid for tracking revenue and expenses, which helps with margins. Not specifically marketing-focused tho.
Anyone else here use HubSpot for their marketing agency’s financial tracking? I use it mainly for CRM but curious if others use it for profit analysis too.
For something more tailored, I've been using ProfitWell. It's mainly for subscription businesses but has some neat margin insights and churn tracking that marketing agencies can adapt to.
Tried a few marketing CRMs that claim to help with profit margins but most just focus on sales pipeline, not the actual costs behind the campaigns.
