Stop-motion fans, any good apps for planning or capturing your projects?
For indie animators, OpenToonz is a nice free option. It’s got some advanced features and a decent learning curve.
For those working with VFX alongside animation, After Effects integrates great and gives tons of creative control.
Looking forward to hearing more tips from everyone here, thanks for starting this thread!
I’m kinda stuck between choosing Adobe Animate and TVPaint. Both have pros and cons depending on the style you're going for.
What's your take on using AI in animation? Do you think it’ll replace artists or just be a helper?
Anyone here tried Autodesk Maya? Heard it’s crazy powerful but wondering if it's worth the learning curve.
Krita isn’t just for digital painting, their animation feature is surprisingly robust for a free tool.
I just started playing around with some AI-powered animation helpers. They’re not perfect but kinda cool for automating repetitive tasks.
Toon Boom Harmony is my go-to. It has this natural feel for hand-drawn animations and the vector tools are top notch.
Does anyone have experience with Moho? I heard it’s good for rigging 2D characters but not sure if it’s worth it.
I've been using Blender for a while now and it seriously speeds up my workflow. The community support is amazing too!
Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by all the options out there. Any suggestions on how to pick the right tools without losing my mind?
