You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending library tech tools. They have good updates frequently!
AI chatbots for answering visitor questions have been a game changer here. They handle a lot of simple inquiries freeing up staff for more complex stuff.
I started using an AI-based system for cataloging books and honestly, it cut down so much manual work. It's not perfect but way better than before.
The biggest hurdle is training staff to use these AI tools properly. It takes time and patience.
We've tried AI for book recommendations in our library app. Users seem to like the personalized suggestions!
