Has anyone managed to keep SEO metadata intact when importing AI content into the CMS automatically?

Does anyone have experience with headless CMS and AI content tools? Wondering if integration is easier there.

I use Zapier as a bridge between my AI writing tool and the CMS, works well for automating posts but can get pricey.

I’m new to all this. Can anyone explain if the AI actually writes content directly in the CMS or just creates drafts?

Sometimes I just set up a webhook between the AI service and the CMS so new content gets pushed automatically. Takes a bit of coding but works great once set up.

My biggest tip: test the integration on a staging site before pushing live, AI content can sometimes act unexpected!

I think the key is to make sure your AI tool supports your CMS’s API. Otherwise you’re stuck writing custom connectors and that sucks for sure.
