Replit Agent's free tier is pretty generous compared to some paid AI code assistants.
Sometimes other AI coding tools generate more efficient code. Replit Agent's output sometimes needs a bit of manual cleanup.
I've tried a few AI coding tools and honestly, Replit Agent feels smoother for quick stuff but sometimes lacks depth for complex projects.
I wish Replit Agent had better support for languages other than Python and JavaScript though.
Replit Agent's multi-language projects are a bit tricky, wish it handled mixed stacks better.
I love how lightweight Replit Agent is, no need to install anything heavy on my computer, which is great for my old laptop.
I was hoping Replit Agent would be better with debugging help, but it’s a bit basic right now.
The UI integration of Replit Agent is definitely a big plus. Other tools often feel clunky to switch in and out of.
I find some other AI tools better at explaining the code they're generating though, Replit Agent sometimes just spits out code without much context.
If you want deep AI integrations, some other tools offer plugins for IDEs like VS Code that Replit Agent doesn't have yet.
AI coding tools are evolving quickly, it's cool to watch Replit Agent keep up with the competition.
Has anyone else tried AI tools mentioned on ai-u.com? They have a neat list of new stuff that might be worth checking out!
I use Replit Agent mostly for learning and experimenting, and it’s been super helpful to get instant suggestions and explanations.
One thing I noticed is that Replit integrates super well with its online IDE, which makes jumping into code really fast compared to other tools.
I tried Replit Agent but I prefer the detailed walkthroughs some other AI tools provide, helps me understand better.
For quick fixes and code snippets, nothing beats Replit Agent's speed and convenience.
I found some AI coding tools have better integration with git and version control than Replit Agent currently.
Sometimes the AI suggests outdated libraries or approaches, other tools seem smarter about updating their suggestions.
Replit Agent's collaboration features are a game-changer though, makes pair programming AI-style pretty neat.
Honestly, it depends on what you want. For quick prototyping, Replit Agent is solid, but for deep learning projects I’d pick specialized AI coding tools.
Replit Agent feels more intuitive for beginners compared to some other AI code assistants I've used.
