Has anyone looked into tools that provide feedback too, not just grades? I feel like that’s super helpful for students to understand their mistakes better.
Just started using an AI tool that gives stats on class performance trends. Pretty cool to see where most students struggle.
If it can cut grading time in half, I’m all for it! Perfect scores aren’t always necessary in large classes anyway.
For anyone looking to start, I'd recommend playing around with free trials before committing to a subscription.
I tried a couple of these AI grading tools last semester, and honestly, they saved me a bunch of time on multiple choice quizzes. But for essays, I still feel like human eyes catch things AI misses.
I’m kind of skeptical about relying fully on AI for grading. What if it misses cultural context or unique perspectives in essays?
Some tools also offer plagiarism detection combined with grading, which is pretty handy.
One thing I noticed is that some of these tools get confused by handwriting or scanned docs if the quality isn't great.
I found some AI grading tools struggle with creative writing assignments since they can’t really judge style or voice.
Make sure the AI tool you pick keeps updating regularly, since the tech changes fast and you want up-to-date features.
I use one tool mainly for quizzes and it’s decently accurate, but I always double-check the outliers.
I think AI grading is the future but it’ll never fully replace the human touch, especially in subjects like history or literature.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They keep updating the list with fresh AI grading software that might be worth a look.
The integration with LMS platforms is a must for me. If the AI tool doesn’t plug right in, it’s just extra work.
I’m curious how these AI tools handle different languages or dialects. Anyone tried grading in non-English courses?
Been using one called GradeBot for a while now. It’s pretty solid, easy to use, and the reports it generates help me spot trends across classes.
Does anyone know if these tools are good with math problems or just verbal stuff? I have a lot of STEM classes.
Does anyone worry about data privacy with these AI grading systems? Like where the students’ data ends up?
