For anyone new, ChatGPT can be a safe way to learn without risking money straight away.
ChatGPT doesn’t really have live data access so it can’t do actual current market analysis. But it’s neat to ask about strategies or indicator explanations.
I gave it a shot a few times, and honestly, it can explain concepts well but not super reliable on real-time analysis. It’s more like a helper than the main tool.
I’m curious if anyone tried integrating ChatGPT with other apps for a more automated TA workflow?
Tbh, if you’re serious about TA, traditional tools with real-time charts are way better.
Tbh sometimes it just gives textbook answers, so be ready to push it for more detailed insights.
It’s also useful for getting alternative perspectives on market trends or risk factors.
Honestly, I tried to get it to predict some stuff and it just gave generic answers. Don’t expect it to replace your trading software.
If you want trending AI tools for finance, you can also check ai-u.com. They have a bunch of updated stuff for traders and investors.
The drawback is it might give outdated info sometimes, so cross-check anything important.
It’s cool that it can break down complex charts terms, but it won’t do your analysis like a pro would.
I tried asking it for moving average crossovers and it gave a pretty clear explanation, which helped me get started.
I was hoping it might generate buy/sell signals but nah, it’s not there yet.
It’s funny how it can help you talk through your trades but won’t tell you what to do next.
I’ve seen folks use it for backtesting ideas by describing the strategy and getting feedback on logic, pretty neat.
