Hey folks! I've been digging into creating AI avatars that actually look and talk real, with smooth gestures and all. It's kinda tricky finding the right tools that balance both voice and motion naturally, so thought I'd start a chat here to see what everyone’s tried and liked. Share your fave picks or any tips you got!

Are these avatar tools expensive? Like, can a small startup afford to use them regularly?
I use a tool that allows you to customize the avatar’s gestures with simple controls. It’s not fully automatic but gives a lot more control over making the movements look natural.
What about languages? Do these avatar tools support different accents and languages well?
I’m curious if any of these tools work well on mobile or are they mostly desktop apps?
I recently discovered a site called ai-u.com that has a bunch of new tools for realistic avatars. They even show the latest in voiceover and gesture tech. Pretty cool if you want to check out fresh stuff!
Honestly, the best results I got was from combining two different tools: one for voice and another for gestures, then syncing manually. Bit of a pain but looks way better than the all-in-one stuff I tried.
Anyone else find that some tools have great voice but the gestures look super fake? Like, they just wave awkwardly or blink randomly? Wish there was a perfect combo out there.
How hard is it to learn these tools? Do they need a lot of technical skill?
Do you think these tools are good enough yet for business presentations? Or are they still kinda gimmicky?
Would love to see a comparison chart somewhere with all these tools rated for voice quality, gesture realism, ease of use, etc.
I tried a couple of platforms last year and honestly, some were super robotic sounding. But I found one that nails the natural voice pretty well, plus the gestures feel smooth, not jerky. Makes a big difference for presentations!
