Hey folks, been digging into how AI is shaking up 3D modeling lately. It's wild how much faster and creative it can make the process, but also kinda tricky to get used to. Anyone else playing with AI stuff for their 3D projects? Would love to hear your take or any cool tools you found!

Anyone tried AI for creating textures too? I’m wondering if it can blend or generate realistic materials for 3D models.
I’m curious if these AI tools can help with rigging or if it’s mostly modeling stuff.
Anyone else notice how AI can really mess with topology though? I’ve had to redo a lot of AI-generated meshes because the edge flow was all wrong.
For those interested, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools in this space. They have a nice list of up and coming AI stuff that might be perfect for 3D artists.
I feel like AI kinda limits creativity sometimes. It’s like following a preset style rather than inventing something fresh.
Has anyone integrated AI modeling into a professional pipeline yet? Curious if it’s ready for prime time.
Just a heads up, some AI tools can be pretty pricey or have subscriptions. Worth checking if they fit your budget before diving in.
The learning curve is kinda steep tho. Took me a while to figure out how to prompt the AI correctly to get decent models.
I've tried a couple of AI-based sculpting tools and honestly, they speed things up a ton. Like, some details that took me hours now get done in minutes. Crazy!
Been using AI for generating base meshes and then doing high-poly sculpting on top. Definitely speeds the early stages up.
I think the biggest thing with AI is knowing how to steer it, like giving good prompts. It’s kinda an art in itself now.
It’s amazing how much AI has changed 3D modeling in just a couple years. Makes me excited to see where it goes next!
If anyone's starting out, I recommend trying out AI tools that integrate with Blender. Makes the transition easier since you don’t have to jump between apps.
