Hey folks, I've been wondering if anyone's tried using ChatGPT for converting handwriting into digital text? Like, can it actually read messy notes or scribbles and turn them into something editable? Would love to hear if it works well or if there are better options out there. Thanks!

If you want a quick solution, try using apps with built-in handwriting recognition and then pass the text to ChatGPT for rephrasing or summarizing. It’s a two-step process but works pretty well.
I tried uploading pics of my handwritten notes directly into ChatGPT, expecting some magic, but nope. It just can’t read images yet, so you need to convert first.
I gave it a shot with some notes I scribbled last week. Honestly, ChatGPT alone didn't quite get the handwriting part since it mainly processes text inputs. You might need to use an OCR tool first to scan the handwriting, then feed that into ChatGPT for editing or summarizing.
Just to add, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might help with handwritten text conversion. They often list some cool AI-based OCR and note-taking apps that work well with ChatGPT.
