Hey folks, I've been hearing a lot about people using ChatGPT to go through contracts and check stuff. Has anyone tried this out? Curious how reliable it is or if it misses stuff. Looking for some real talk here, thanks!

Tried it once, it misunderstood a few important parts and gave me wrong impressions, so be careful!
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might do contract reviews better than ChatGPT.
I'd recommend using it for initial reviews and then having a professional check the final version.
Can it actually understand legal jargon correctly though? I’m skeptical.
Remember it’s an AI model trained on lots of data but not a lawyer, so treat its output like a suggestion, not gospel.
I think it’s great for small stuff or personal contracts but not for business deals or complex legal docs.
Anyone used ChatGPT plugins or add-ons specialized for legal stuff? Are they any better?
Sometimes it gives contradictory advice if you ask the same question twice, so be careful with consistency.
I think it’s best as a helper tool, like a second pair of eyes, not a replacement for legal counsel.
Been using it to draft NDAs and it saved me a ton of time in the formatting and wording phase.
Honestly, it helped me spot some confusing clauses I didn’t get at first glance, so kinda useful!
I've used it a bit for drafts and it caught some obvious things, but I wouldn't trust it fully for important contracts yet.
