I've tried a couple and honestly, some of these AI note takers are hit or miss. Like, they do a decent job transcribing but sometimes miss the context or key points.
Is there any tool that works offline? Sometimes our meetings have sensitive info and cloud-based AI isn’t an option.
I checked out a bunch of reviews on Reddit before picking my tool. Sometimes the user feedback there feels more genuine than official reviews.
Has anyone tried Otter.ai? People rave about it but I found the free version kinda limited.
I like when the AI highlights action items automatically, that’s super helpful for follow ups.
I use a combo of transcription AI and then manually organize notes. Seems like the best of both worlds.
Tried a free tool that was pretty basic but enough for quick meetings where I just needed the gist.
I've heard about Fireflies.ai, anyone using it? How's it for meetings with lots of people talking?
I’m hoping AI note takers get better at understanding different languages and mixed language meetings.
If anyone’s interested, I can share a list of tools I gathered from various Reddit threads!
Honestly, some of these AI note takers really helped me save tons of time, especially when I’m juggling back-to-back meetings all day.
Some tools try to be too fancy with AI and end up overcomplicating simple notes, which I don't like.
Does anyone worry about privacy with these AI note takers? I’m kinda hesitant about uploading corporate calls.
I found a neat AI note taker that integrates with Zoom and automatically creates meeting summaries with action items. It's been a game changer for my team!
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They update frequently and have some cool ones listed.
I wish there was a tool that could join meetings on its own and take notes, kinda like a virtual assistant.
For those who want to test without commitment, many tools offer free trials which is nice to see how they handle your meetings.
My team tried a few, but we ended up sticking to manual notes because the AI versions missed some project-specific jargon.
The transcription speed varies a lot between tools. Some take ages to process even short meetings.
One thing that bugs me is how these tools handle accents or faster speakers. The transcription sometimes gets messy in those cases.
