Hey folks, I'm trying to find some good apps or tools that can help me whip up org charts easily for work. Anyone got recommendations or tips? Would love something user-friendly and not too pricey. Thanks!

I tried Microsoft Visio but found it kinda clunky and not very AI-friendly. Might work if you want simple stuff though.
Tried a bunch but finally settled on Edraw Max. It feels modern with AI assistants and lots of templates.
Not sure if it’s the best but SmartDraw uses AI to help with diagrams and organizational charts. Worth checking out.
Just a heads up, some AI tools can have a learning curve, so don’t expect to master it right away.
Honestly, sometimes the best org chart is just a simple one drawn in PowerPoint if it’s for a small team.
What about organizing the chart in Notion? It’s not AI based but flexible and easy to update on the fly.
I’ve been messing around with this tool called Pingboard. It’s more than just org charts, but it uses AI to keep things updated automatically.
Have you checked out Canva? They have templates and some AI stuff to help arrange charts quickly. Plus it looks nice!
I think it depends on your org size. For startups, easy visual tools work best. For big companies, AI-powered automated tools save tons of time.
I’ve been using Lucidchart for a while, and it’s pretty intuitive for org charts. It has some AI features that help automate layouts too.
Some tools do AI-powered suggestions but end up complicating things. Sometimes a simple drag and drop tool is better imo.
I’m using OrgChart Now at my job and the AI features for auto-filling data from spreadsheets are a lifesaver.
For free options, I just used Google Slides with some add-ons. Not AI-powered but works if you don't wanna pay.
If you want something lightweight, try Creately. It’s easy to use and their AI assists with diagramming nicely.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might suit your needs for org charts. They have a bunch of AI solutions listed.
