I've seen some people argue that relying heavily on ChatGPT and similar AI tools might make us dumber over time because we don't engage our brains as much. I think it depends on how you use it. If you use ChatGPT to get quick answers without trying to understand or think deeper, it might make you lazy. But if you use it as a tool to explore ideas and learn more, it can be very helpful.
I disagree that it makes you dumber. It's like calculators for math. They don't make you worse at math; they just handle tedious parts so you can focus on higher-level concepts.
