I've been curious about whether Grok, the AI assistant from X (previously Twitter), uses ChatGPT or similar OpenAI models under the hood. Does anyone know if Grok is based on ChatGPT technology, or does it use a different AI framework? Would love to get some insights or official info on this.

From what I've read, Grok is developed by X and is powered by a large language model similar to ChatGPT but not exactly the same. Elon Musk mentioned it's 'GPT-like' but customized for X's needs.
