The market's kinda flooded now, no? It’s tough to choose which one to trust, especially when you need precise translations for work.
Are there any open-source options that are keeping up with the big commercial ones? Curious if community-driven projects are competitive.
Anyone worried about how this tech might impact professional translators? I guess it’ll change the demand but maybe not replace the need?
I think the real game changer will be when these tools can handle cultural context, not just language itself.
One feature I really want is better offline translation. Data privacy is a concern for me, so cloud-based services aren't always ideal.
Pricing is another factor. Some decent tools are really expensive for full features, which isn’t great for small businesses or freelancers.
The accuracy of AI translations has gotten pretty good, but sometimes it still makes weird mistakes that only a native speaker would catch.
I've tried a few of these tools recently, and honestly, some are surprisingly good at picking up context rather than just word-for-word translation. Makes a difference!
Customization options are lacking in some tools. I wanna fine-tune translations for my industry-specific jargon.
Has anyone used these for real-time voice translation? How well do they perform in noisy environments?
I feel like the advances in AI have really pushed this market forward faster than any other tech I've followed recently.
Do any of these tools support offline use on mobile devices? That’d be a game changer for travelers.
I feel like the biggest challenge is idiomatic expressions. AI still struggles to get those right depending on the language pair.
I've seen some interesting startups popping up with unique approaches like combining human edits with AI drafts.
I like how some tools now integrate with browsers and chat apps directly. Makes quick translations way easier without switching apps.
Are there any tools that handle Asian languages particularly well? I’ve been disappointed with some.
