Hey everyone, I've been wondering if there's a browser extension for ChatGPT that actually works well. I've seen some out there but not sure which ones are legit or useful. Anyone tried any of these or know if OpenAI has an official one? Would love to hear your experiences or recommendations!

Yeah, I tried a couple of unofficial extensions but they felt kinda sketchy and sometimes buggy. Not sure if they're safe to use honestly.
There are some third-party extensions that try to integrate ChatGPT into your browser, but be careful with your data. Not all of them are trustworthy.
Honestly, I just use ChatGPT on the web page instead of adding extensions. Feels safer and no weird bugs so far.
I’m hoping for a feature where the extension can summarize articles or emails using ChatGPT. That’d be a game changer!
I found some extensions that add ChatGPT right into your email composer or note-taking apps, which is pretty cool if you want to speed stuff up.
Just FYI, there's actually an official ChatGPT extension for Chrome now, but it's still pretty basic. Hope they add more features soon.
Using extensions can sometimes slow your browser down or even cause crashes, so just be mindful about what you add.
