I've been wondering if Zybooks has the capability to detect when students use ChatGPT or other AI tools to complete their assignments. Has anyone had any experience with this? How reliable is Zybooks in identifying AI-generated content? Any insights or personal experiences would be appreciated!

Interesting question. I personally haven't seen any official statements from Zybooks about AI detection, so probably not at this moment.
From what I know, Zybooks primarily focuses on interactive coding challenges and problem-solving rather than essay submissions, so detecting AI-generated text might not be their main feature.
I've heard some instructors use plagiarism checkers alongside Zybooks, but as for Zybooks itself detecting ChatGPT, I doubt it has that capability yet.
