I'm preparing for an upcoming online exam that will use Honorlock as the proctoring software. There's been a lot of talk about AI tools like ChatGPT assisting students during exams. I'm curious — does Honorlock have the capability to detect if someone is using ChatGPT or similar AI tools during the exam? How effective is it at spotting this kind of behavior? Any insights or experiences would be appreciated!

Honorlock mainly monitors your computer activities, webcam, and microphone. It can detect if you open unauthorized tabs or applications, but it doesn't specifically detect AI tools like ChatGPT. However, if you're copying answers directly from ChatGPT and pasting them, it might pick up suspicious behavior.
From what I understand, Honorlock does not have direct AI detection features. It focuses on preventing cheating through browser lockdown, video monitoring, and detecting other software usage. But it won't analyze your text for AI-generated content.
