I'm wondering if ChatGPT can help me proofread PDFs directly. I have several PDF documents that need checking for grammar and spelling errors. Is there a way to upload PDFs or extract text from them so that ChatGPT can assist? Would appreciate any tips or workflow suggestions!

There are third-party apps integrating ChatGPT that claim to support PDF proofreading, but I haven't tested them myself yet.
ChatGPT can't open PDFs directly, but you can copy the text from your PDF and paste it here for proofreading. If the document is large, try to split it into smaller sections so it can handle it better.
I use a two-step approach: extract text with Adobe Acrobat, then feed chunks to ChatGPT for proofreading. Works pretty well!
