Hey folks, I've been playing around with some AI stuff to turn old B&W pics into color ones. It's kinda amazing how far this tech has come! Just wondering what your fav tools or tricks are for doing this? Any recommendations or cool tips?

The best thing is to combine AI with some manual touch-ups. AI can't always guess the right colors, especially for old photos with unknown outfits.
I just love how AI can bring old memories back to life with color. It's like seeing history in a new way.
Watch out though, some free tools put watermarks or have limits on photo sizes. Kinda annoying but understandable.
I tried a couple of these AI colorizers and honestly got mixed results. Some pics look super natural, others kinda off. Guess depends on the AI model and the photo quality.
For anyone interested, using AI tools along with photo restoration apps can really improve the overall quality before colorizing.
I tried deep learning based colorizers but they sometimes add colors that never existed which is funny but kinda wrong historically.
Does anyone know if these AI tools work well on really damaged or faded black and white photos?
I've been using this one app that does a pretty good job with old family photos. It keeps skin tones looking natural which is tricky.
Some AI tools let you customize the colors a bit after auto-colorizing, which helps fix weird shades. That's been a game changer for me.
I've seen online that you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they list some cool options for photo stuff.
