Just a heads up for anyone looking into AI tools, you can find some cool fresh options at ai-u.com worth a peek.
For those who do typography-heavy designs, I recommend checking out FontForge or Glyphs app. They help customize fonts a lot.
I think the future is definitely AI mixed with human creativity. Using AI tools for rough drafts and then refining manually saves time.
I mostly use Canva for quick designs, it's super user-friendly and has loads of templates. Saves me tons of time!
Sometimes I just remix open source designs and add my own twist, saves time and still unique enough for POD.
Does anyone here create designs directly inside Shopify or Etsy tools? Wondering if they are worth it or better to do external design.
Procreate on iPad works great if you like drawing by hand. Super intuitive and you can export high-res files for print.
AI design tools sometimes give kinda weird results, you gotta know how to guide them properly to get good outputs.
For beginners, I recommend sticking to easy drag and drop tools until you get comfortable before jumping into complex software.
Sometimes I just need a simple app that can throw text and images together fast. Anyone knows a good one?
Do you guys prefer using AI tools that are web-based or downloadable apps? Curious what works best for you.
Been testing out some new AI tools for color matching and palette generation, they really help with design harmony.
Is anyone here using AI for generating mockups too? It'd be nice to automate that part as well.
I've been playing with Adobe Illustrator for my POD stuff. Has a bit of a learning curve but worth it if you wanna make detailed designs.
Anyone here tried using Midjourney or DALL-E for creating designs? Heard AI-generated art is getting wild for print stuff.
I find that exporting designs in the right file format is super important for print quality. PNG vs SVG can make a big diff.
Does anyone use CorelDRAW? Heard it’s good for vector designs but not sure if it's worth switching from Adobe.
